Artist Bio

Lone Kuzz is a Nigerian-born singer/songwriter that incorporates emotion-filled lyrics, trippy sonics, and distant vocals in his music. He often writes his songs with the intent of inviting the listeners to stories that have romance as their overarching theme. Whether it be the thrill of falling in love or the sadness of breaking up, he covers it all. With music majorly influenced by Afro-pop, RnB, and even Hip-Hop, it is apparent that he is not afraid to switch things up and play around with his sound, as you would hear in songs like (“Come Close”) with Krosszn and O.L.A, (“Paradise”) featuring Nicole Glazunov, and ("Beamer") with Young Wazi. He gets this experimentative touch from his taste in music with the likes of WizKid and Drake as his inspiration musically, but Brent Faiyaz with Frank Ocean lyrically. His latest project, "Lone Lover", released February 2021 which charted on Apple Music's "Top 200 Albums" chart worldwide and officially featured on AudioMack Africa and Audio Mack World, was the complete reflection of whom Lone Kuzz has become as an individual as he establishes his sound with presents the journey one takes to finally love themselves and others.

The Perfect Tune While We're SEARCHING for Love

‘Tis the season for love and while there are those who already have their partners, there are also those who don’t and are looking for their potential valentine. Lone Kuzz has decided to release his first song this year, “Searching” featuring artist, Wild Soja who will be the tone-setter for his audience on Valentine’s Day as he will be releasing it on the 14th of February. In this song, listeners can expect his new vocal range likened to what could be heard on “No Hate” with bright vocals and dreamy backup singing to aid this love song. A love song that is about two individuals (soon to significant others) who have been searching for love and have at last found it with each other. In the creation of this song, Kuzz took inspiration from artists; Rema, Joe Boy, and Oxlade as he believes them to be the pioneers of the imagery of afro-pop music catering to the romance genre for the youth while keeping to his sound, adding his own unique spin with light tones, reverbed ad-libs, and romantic lyricism.
